Teaching a remote
Not sure where to post this. I am teaching serveral remotes using my newly aquired USB-UIRT. Is there a way to remove all the number codes i have entered for the different commands? I would like to try something different and with all these number codes things are getting messy.

For lack of anything better, I've been putting anything remotely related to remotes in the hardware forum...
You are using your USB-UIRT directly via SageTV? If so, there will be a whole bunch of properties in the sage.properties (or sageclient.properties if using a client or the service) for all the remote command mappings. Unfortunately, I am nowhere near my SageTV systems right now & I don't remember the property names... something like "rc_mapping\<command name>"... or not. Maybe someone else will be nice enough to look up those names? ![]() Once you find those lines, you can remove them while the SageTV UI using that property file is not running & restart SageTV. - Andy
