Twin channel line-up ?
Dear experienced user,
Is this possible: I would like to have two equal channel line-ups on two different tuner cards. I’m looking for the possibility where I choose which tuner card, should be used to record a show. Something like: “primary use the Hauppauge card but if it is or going to be busy, (recording a show) then please use the second (not so good) tuner card.” Wow – quite hard to explain: Iwant to control which card to be used. Do you understand my point ? I have my two tuner cards installed. Using the multiple line-up importer from Nielm: http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthr...9299#post39299 Using two epg files, named 1.xml and 2.xml. They have exactly the same content. (grabbed two times and copied to the sage directory with two different file names) I have been setting the channel frequencies in the registry, like described here: http://www.snapstream.com/community/...s/customorder/ And thought: If I created the TV channel two times (two different DWORDS) with the same frequency – could be DWORD 1 and 21, Then remapping, in SageTv Channel setup (tuner card #1), TV channel #1 (DR1) to “Different channel number” = 1 And remapping tuner card#2, to “Different channel number” =21 – then I was expecting to see the same TV channel (DR1) two times in the “Program guide” But No, only one appears. If I map e.g. TV channels 1-5 to XMLTV line-up #1 and the channel 6-10 to XMLTV line-up #2 – I have all 10 channels in the program guide (spread over the two cards) Any clues are very welcome: Michael, Denmark |
