VideoRedo using contrast and brightness?

1. Does anyone know if when using VideoRedo (using the Contrast and brightness controls will effect the actual final output). Or does it just effect the picture while editing it in VideoRedo?

2. Has anyone used VideoRedo in a batch mode? If so, does it allow you to process a list of files you give it (say at midnight) remove the commercials using the Ad Detective, and then resave the file to the same location? All without human intervention?

Im just wondering how much can be automated with it. And how well it might work?

3. If you look at the two attachments, I am curious why VideoRedo says this was a videobit rate of about 3 Mbps, when I recorded using DVD Extra Long play of 1.6GB/Hour. I guess I am not sure if that would be equivalent or not. Does DSVD Extra Long play = about 3 Mbps?
