Changing channels on Dish Network 301 box

Hi Everyone!

Well I decided to try put together a PVR unit and am using the latest SageTV (in Trial mode) and a PVR-150 (not the Media Center one).

I had a few problems which I worked through and I can almost see the finish line, but I'm unable to make the remote control my Dish Network box (using IR Blaster that came with the PVR-150.

I set my source to look at the TV tuner (of the 150) and set the RF to channel 3. I choose the Hauppauge IR Blaster Stub as my controller for the Dish unit (that was on of four choices I had) and set the IR Blaster on the Dish Network box. When I send a signal using the remote (like changing channels), I see the IR Blaster light up, but the Dish Network box doesn't seem to accept the code.

Here's what I don't understand....When I go the setup of the Tuning Device and I go to the set, change, reprogram my device and it says choose one of the following things below....I don't see anything to choose.

It seems that my changing device isn't setup correctly or at all, but I don't see where I do that (other than when I originally setup my source and choose the Hauppauge IR Blaster Stub).

When you look at the video source, it's listed there at the bottom.

I'm sure I've overlooked something, but I can't figure where?

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

When using the blaster from the 150, you have to configure it using the Hauppauge software for that purpose (I don't have a 150, so I can't comment on how that is done). SageTV just uses the 150's blaster as it is configured -- it cannot learn new commands, for example.
