anyone ever tried this video setting

am using a 6600 gt, and I tried this setting the other day and really liked the outcome.

set nview up for dual view... 1024x768 (or whatever you like) and the tv is at 60hz, and pc monitor is at 85 (or whatever you like).

Then go into full screen video tab in the nvidia settings and use auto-select for device, and mirror.

what I see happening in this case is, Sage can be run in 640x480(in a window) on my pc monitor at the monitors refresh rate, and then it gets automaitcally full screened to the tv monitor.
so basically I can run sage to my tv, and monitor it on my monitor at the same time... before I tried this setting, my monitor would always have to be at 60hz to have both on screen at once.
So far, the only caveat I see is that you have to use 640x480 for sage... any smaller and the tv out gets funky... any larger and the tv will clip it.
it does work fine minimized in this state too... as long as you minimize it as 640x480.

it may just be my ideal setting... now if only I could get it to stop producing audio at the PC when minimized.(but still produce audio at the TV)

Put 2 audio cards in the PC, and tell Sage to use the specific one plugged into the TV and you should just get audio at the TV from sage...

I've done this before and it worked just fine.

That's what I was using, one was onboard on my Dell 8400, the other was a Creative Labs Audigy 2. Worked just fine.
