Hardware Encoders without TV tuner
Can anyone suggest a USB hardware encoder which will work in Sage which doesn't have a built in tuner?
It will be connected to an STB to free up my Hauppauge PVR USB2 for analogue TV duties so it only has to accept Composite video inputs Thanks Andrew |

That looks good, but sadly I'm in the UK and it isn't available over here.
Would this one work? http://www.pixmania.co.uk/uk/uk/1556...tml?srcid=867# |

The plextor is supported by SageTV. Have a look in the forums to see what sort of problems there may be with its day to day use.

That doesn't seem ideal then, any alternatives which work better?
Also, will the Terratec Cinergy 400 USB or Terratec Grabster 250/400 work? Last edited by andrew1810; 12-15-2005 at 01:08 PM. |
