Take the media extender functionality that now works with MediaMVP and make a version that will work with

Buffalo LinkTheatre or
Avel Linkplayer

And make sure the new version supports playing back DVDs from ISO files with full menu and chapter support and you have perfection.

High quality connections to your Television (at worst component) HD support and 5.1 audio support.

My problem right now is I have a MediaMVP and will be trying the new 4.1 setup out, but I also just setup a hacked xbox with the opensource mediacenter stuff on it and it's awesome. Does everthing I want except it's not a front end to Sage (I can live without that) and it accesses Sage TV directories, but because sage won't organize shows into folders I have to either live with huge lists of shows or do file manipulation and work with migrating shows in sage to subfolders in library directories. Neither option is ideal.

Sage should support show based sub-folders makes it more universal and open and it should extend to other devices ASAP.
