Dual tuner+xmltv
At the moment I have a WinTV PVR-USB2 attached to my STB via composite using USB-UIRT and XMLTV from the radiotimes grabber, which is all working perfectly.
If I was to buy a second WinTV for analogue only (Channels 1-4), how could I tell Sage that that one tuner can handle all of the channels listed and the analogue one only to use 1-4? Also, I just want to make sure, the second WinTV won't send signals over the USB-UIRT unless I tell it to will it? Thanks |

The 2nd tuner would use a 2nd XMLTV lineup for its listings. After you configure the 2nd tuner via Source Setup, choosing that it uses its own TV Tuner input, SageTV handles everything automatically in terms of knowing which device uses its own tuner & which one uses an external tuner + USB-UIRT.

Excellent, thats one less thing to worry about.
How would I get the second set of listings? Can I run two different copies of the radiotimes grabber program for each tuner and in the instructions it told me to save it with a certain filename for it to be picked up, do I just add a 1 to the end of the filename for the second one? Thanks Andrew |

Andrew: you need a specific XMLTV importer that supports multiple lineups:
http://forums.sage.tv/forums/showthr...9299#post39299 This reads EPG info from files named 1.xml, 2.xml, 3.xml etc... You can either run the UK_RT graber twice with different config files, or run one big grab, and then use tv_grep to filter out the channels you want into a separate xml file, or run one big grab, copy the file to the second file name and just disable all unused channels in the second lineup.
