Dual pvr-150's dual stb's dual blasters, doable?
Title should say it all, but I have 2 retail pvr-150's with which I need to control 2 separate set top cable boxes via the ir blasters on each respective card. My question is how do I set up the "second" pvr-150. The Hauppauge utility doesn't seem to know or care that I have 2 cards installed and therefore only apprently modifies the settings for the "first" card (first in order or irq I'm guessing).
Any clues on how to set up the blaster on the second card? I may well end up with 2 different STB's so I can't just hope it sets the second card to the same settings... Any input would be appreciated! |

i think when you add each 150 to sage you configure that one seperately. So when you add the first one--configure which tuning device you are using and go through that setup, then do the same for the second one. It should work.

As far as I know, it is not possible to use 2 blasters on 2 150 tuners in the same system -- their IR software only uses 1 card's IR port.

Thats dissapointing but not unexpected. I guess my only option now is to split the cards over two computers, but does that mean I'll have to buy extra liscenses (ie sage recorder)?
If sage had a linux version I could do it, because I've had this exact same setup running under linux... Oh well, maybe someday. |

You could add a USB-UIRT to your setup. It will blast for both input sources.

don't do that, just get a USB-UIRT blaster that will let you controll multiple boxes.
