Import of .ogg files not working in v4.1
I am using Deria's MediaPlayer plugin with much sucess with .mp3 files but I wanted to get my .ogg files to play.
Thus I added .ogg to the seeker entry in sage.properties and sageclient.properties on the server and sage.properties on the client. seeker/music_library_import_filename_extensions=.mp3,.wav,.ogg Started the server and the client and did a refresh of import libraries. The album view did not display .ogg albums and Sage took over 2 minutes to load the album view. Then each time you attempt to scroll down to see more albums Sage takes another 2 minutes to update the view. One .ogg album with cover art will showup in the video but that is it. The strangest thing is that in the playlist view there appear to be playlists for each .ogg album and I did not put them there. In addition I have 1000's of "VIDEO PLAYLIST (0 Segments)" entries. I have no idea what is going on! With the amount of time it takes Sage to change the album/artist view it has become unusable. As a last resort I removed the .ogg entry from the seeker and Sage works properly along with the media plugin. Has anyone had a similar experience? /* Updata 12/21/2005 */ I backedup wiz.bin and then deleted the wiz.bin and .bak and all the playlist were gone. The .ogg playlists must have been from a long time ago when I tried to import .ogg files a year ago. I use to have the playlist in the import path. I have no idea where the 1000's of video playlists came from. But the problem with the .ogg import is still there. No .ogg files are imported to the music library and the displaying of music or video libraries takes a couple minutes. Again the first alphabetic .ogg album is displayed in the video library with cover art and that is it. Has any one successfully imported .ogg files with the standard STV with the WinAmp plugin mods? Thanks Tim
