Confused.....what to buy?
I have finally worked out all the issues with my trial version of Sagetv and am ready to buy...however I am a bit confused. I know I want to get the full version of SageTV, but I also am very interested in getting the Media Extender. Do I need to purchase anything else, or does the full version of Sagetv support the Media Player? If not, does the extender software come with the Media Extender? Thanks in advance.

The full version of Sage does support the extender. However, you will need a license for the extender.
Assuming you have a card (TV/tuner) already, and don't have an MVP, you'll probably want: 1) http://store.sagetv.com/Merchant2/me...tegory_Code=SS 2) http://store.sagetv.com/Merchant2/me...tegory_Code=SB If you do have an MVP already, substitute 2 for: http://store.sagetv.com/Merchant2/me...tegory_Code=SS -edit You only need one of each, the 2 is just there as in number 2, not "you need 2"
