What to install?
Finally I got my keys and loading stuff up. Heres the deal. I have a server at my house that will be connected to my Plextor TV402 and I want to run the client on my laptop. Later, I will be adding the Media Extender to the bedroom TV. I however would like to be able to run the Client on my laptop, or if I travel, take the Plextor with me and run the SageTV server on the laptop. Here's the million dollar question: Do I install both Client AND server on the laptop and only run the server when I am away from hom e and the laptop is connected directly to my Plextor? Or does the Client also act as a stand alone? I am thinking I need to install both, but I was curious because the Client is 40MB....just like the Server.

Client is not stand alone and must be used in conjunction with the server software.
