exit button

can anyone tell me where the exit feature is in full screen sage tv? i want to be able to exit back into meedio and other apps on my htpc. there has got to be an exit option without changing back to a window.

sorry maybe i wasnt clear enough. this is connected to an htpc. i use a snapstream remote. i would like to exit either via pressing exit or an onscreen exit button. i dont want to setup macros using girder or snapstream for such a simple task. there has got to be an exit icon through sage.

As far as I know, you need to minimize and then there's an exit button, but there is not one in full screen, which is a PITA.

The SageTV API has an Exit() function, but you would have to add a custom button via Studio, since it was decided not to add it to the default STV interface at this point.

If you add a button, I suggest also adding a confirmation dialog too.

For the future, it would be nice if the setup options would allow you to pick between a standy button and an exit button. I personally have no use for Standy, but not only does Standby get a button, but it's also a menu choice on the main page. So unfair!

SageMC has the exit button that you seek. If you were in the mood for trying out a new STV, give it a whirl. It's very nice looking.
