Newest Default STV with Older menu behaviour
I'm wondering if anyone else doesn't like the change that happened to the menu system in SageTV 4... I much prefered the older style where hitting select just played the recording. And where the detailed screens were used instead of the popups.
It'd be nice to see a custom STV with that option. What are your thoughts?

I'm almost there.. I don't like that either..
My STV will just go right to the cayers-like detailed info when you select in the guide or the program recordings. Mine will also have icons for which encoder was used and whether or not it was HD and a digital recording.... I want to know if something was recorded digitally or not!! I hope to be far enough along in a week for the wife to try it! I love Studio!! (But sometimes I hate it too!!) Jim

I've added the old behavior of sage 2.x to my STV.
So when you hit an item it will display the detailed info and not the pop-up. Take a look at http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...ad.php?t=15350 Jim
