MVP Picture Grainy
I am using an MVP with an S-Video hook up to a 65" 16x9 Mitsubishi Rear Projeciton TV (until I can figure out a better HDTV alternative). The menu looks very grainy. I have ran through all of the video setup features for the TV, contract, brightness, sharpness, convergence of the tubes, etc. and it simply looks like a real low quality computer monitor.
Playback of videos seems perfectly fine, but the text from the menus is just very grainy and blurry. Anybody else experience this? Any ideas on other things to try? |

Get a different TV.
Seriously the MVP is a hardware device and was designed for 4:3 SDTV. You're taking that picture and blowing it up to a 65" HDTV resolution. I'm not surprised. Gerry
