CHOPPY video???
I have 1gb of ram and an AMD X2 3800+ processor. I am running dual monitors, and when I try to view the TV it works for a good 10 seconds and then becomes choppy... and it lags the rest of my computer from doing anything!
Anyone know how I can fix it? Using the hauppauge wintv pvr-usb2 w/ remote control and the custom "control with no active win" irremote.ini file... |

Are the video recording directories on drives that were formatted using a 64K cluster size?
If you are running an antivirus program, make sure it isn't automatically scanning the video dirs. Or, it could be something else... - Andy

No antivirus running when trying it, and yes the partition is 64k clusters...

What video card are you using? Which decoder? VMR9 or Overlay? Are you using FSE?
