Wireless link dies when used with Sage

Hey Everybody,
I'm open to suggestions here. We have two clients, one wired and one 802.11a which have always worked, and still work, just fine.

I set up another machine a few weeks ago with 802.11a and it has had no problem hooking to the internet and also to the server machine which also hosts Sage. I was thinking of running a third sage client on that new machine so installed the trial version to see if the link speed would be good enough. It works just fine as long as i don't do anything else, but as soon as i start doing other things, like opening the 'my computer' folder, it kills the 802.11a connection to the point where i have to reboot the machine to get it back. (logging off, disable/enable, un-install/install of the wireless does not do it, only re-booting).

Any suggestions??
