Sorting XMLTV

Has anyone any idea how to sort listings in XMLTV?
I have had a look at the XMLTV site, but to be honest I am not a programmer, and it confused the hell out of me. Got a network problem I can sort them out

Seriously if anyone has done this, I would appreciate some help.

Regards Paul.

You can manually remap the channels in SageTV to different numbers. It'll accept anything for the numbers, and strip off any non-numeric characters. So you can do things like:

A4
B3

To reorder channels 4 & 3.

So I take it then that any new imports or the XML file would then appear in order? Or does it mean I have to do this every time?

Regards Paul.

You only need to do it once. Sage stores these remappings completely separate from where the XMLTV data is stored.
