Sagetv Client Can't Disable Menu Fades
I'm using 4.1 client and server and on the server I can disable the fading menu. The menu option doesn't exist on the client. How can I get it there to disable the fades and leave on 3D acceleration.

The option should exit in the same exact place for the client... it does on my system. If you have that option on your server, make sure you have the same STV loaded on the client. It should be SageTV3.xml. (You can check on the System Info screen.)

I spoke too soon. I can't see it on my server either. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. I thought it would be on Detailed Setup --> Customize at the bottom. It's not there.
My System Information says that I'm using STV3.stv dated October 2005. I think this is from version 4.0. How do I update it?

Since the old .stv files don't list the new .xml STV files, you will have to edit your properties file to tell it to load the new default SageTV3.xml as your STV. (You have to run v4.1 to load .xml files, but you already said you are doing that, so it should work.)
