Different Graphs for mpegs recorded by SageTV ?

Hi,

I've recently started having problems playing back some programs recorded by SageTV. The files also doesn't want to play back using Windows Media player.

The do play back on a different machine .. which leads me to believe it's either a codec for playing back or a problem in recording the show.

It happens on Sage 4.1.4 Beta.

I have 3 mpeg files ... recorded on the same day with the same SageTV setup. I have 3 tuners: 2 x PVR150's and one HDTV ATI tuner.

These Mpegs were all recorded via the PVR150's (not HD)

When I run graphedit on the working and non working files, it draws me 2 different graphs ?? Is that to be expected ?? All settings in SageTV is the same for both PVR150's.

The main difference is in the "mpeg splitter"

The NON working file (by non working I mean it either hangs SageTV or media player - or plays in FF or just doesn't play depending on which MPEG video decoder you select.)

So ,,,
Broken mpeg : The main difference is it uses "MPEG-2 Splitter" located in c:\windows\system32\mpg2splt.ax

Working mpeg: Uses "SageTV MPEG Splitter" (stvmcspmpeg.ax)

If I try to link the broken mpeg to the SageTV splitter ... it says that the two could not agree on a method .. or something like that.

Any ideas ??

Thanks
Basset
