2.4GHz...... If it were in the ISO from Sage, you wouldn't have to do it at all .....

I'm sorry to hear about the 24 hrs. +, but what section is it up to?....

24+... lol Glad I didnt do it on a 500 MHZ....

I changed them in that file.... and went into settings, and I couldn't change it

I like SageTV linux... but it does seem pretty beta. I've tried to get rid of my top flickering... but no matter what value I change too (Mentioned in another thread) I can't seem to get rid of it. Tried reinstalling and changing it so many times... not going to try again, since I don't feel like spending 10+ hours emerging kde... I think SageTV Linux is good, nice to play around with, but I think I might use the windows version mainly... maybe play around with the linux version for future releases... Going to install windows 2K on my system with my capture cards, and Gentoo on my other system, learn gentoo a bit more first, before I try linux Edition again Thanks for all the help tho... I'd be so lost without it... :P

OK. All you have to do to free the monitor settings is to go into xorg.conf:

nano xorg.conf

Comment out the parts in monitor that start with "720x480" , "704" , Horiz, Vert.... Leave the other ones alone.

When you run KDE, you might have to adjust the fonts, but it should let you go higher than 720x480.
