By the way what your father on cable or sat ? as of right now you only have few option the newer HD-PVR 2 model 1512 or 1504 or Colossus there is a newer Colossus 2 coming but it not out right now.

I was wondering if you could give me advice. My father's SageTV box, which has been running like a champ for four years, finally killed it's last Version 1 HDPVR. He went through the two that I bought back in the day, so I have no spares left for him. I haven't researched any capture devices since I got my HDHR-Prime. I would like to get him a Component input with analog audio capture device as rock solid as those HDPVR's. Do you have an opinion which of the Hauppauge devices I can currently buy, which would work with SageTV well. Thanks for any advice you can give.
