Is there a means to view web sites?

I want to add menu choices that cause particular web sites to display on the TV - web sites such as webcams around the world - that deliver content in HTML and look OK at 800 x 600 pixels.

This would use the MIcrosoft or Mozilla OCX/DLL rendering engine for getting a URL ready to display. The output would be to the window that SageTV uses, or a new raster.

I have done this using Microsoft's IE engine (not IE per se) in a separate program, but now I want it integrated with SageTV so I can retire the separate program - which runs on a different PC. This is a VB6 program - and it is careful not to let the user web surf randomly.

The family loves looking every day at various webcams, weather sites, and freeway traffic maps.

I too am very insterested in seeing freeway traffic maps.

This feature sure would be nice so that one can quickly look at the screen in the morning to see how the freeway's are doing before hiting the streets

Traffic cams images can be supported using the the Weather Report Suite import.
