Just Another Custom Recording Quality Question
Maybe it's just me, I haven't checked in the Sage properties file since upgrading to Version 4 but I can't seem to find any of the recording qualities in there.
I am looking in the Sage.properties and not the SageClient.properties file as I am not using Sage as a service. I have been using Max Mpeg-2 for a while but I am getting a little too much digitization in some recordings, so I switched to 3.2GB DVD Standard Play and now I am getting a little too much ghosting in sports videos. I am looking to add a quality at 9mbit/s but do not want to screw things up. Plus I am really curious about the qualities being missing.

I think the format's the same, it's just that the defaults are no longer stored in the properties file (since they're hard coded and can't be changed).

What part of the file do you or can you change?
Would this help with live tv viewing quality?

So using a higher quality should give better results in LiveTV... Quote:
