Passing Variables between Menus

I have gotten the config screen for a plugin displayed in a workable fashion.

Currently There are three menus. Only 2 of which are a concern for this question.

Menu 1
<attribute foo="">
<text> <panel>(displays foo) <button>(jumps to menu2)

Menus 2
<reference to attribute foo>
<text input theme used for title search> <button - done>

What I want to do is have it where when the button - done is clicked, the input from the text input theme is stored in attribute foo, so that the first menu screen can display it. The tutorials didn't cover this, as each is under a single menu.

I suppose I will try to use options menu so they are in the same "context", but I would like to have different menus for each of the screens if it is possible.

Any help is always appriciated.

What you want is AddStaticContext, whose whole purpose is to pass arguments from one menu to the next.
