Sage not seeing both of my Hauppauge PVR-250 boards?
My motherboard died in my HTPC (Intel i865PE chipset) so I had to put a different one in. I bought one as close as possible, with the same chipset, and it even has the same integrated sound. I think the NIC driver was different, and that's all. I'm running XP SP2 and Sage 4.0.
Surprisingly, I didn't have to reformat and start over. Everything came back up, except for some minor driver installing again as it found my Hauppauge PVR-250 boards and my MyHD MDP-130 HDTV card. I have one issue. Sage only can see one of my two PVR-250 cards. When I try to add the second one, it only shows the capture connection as another option, not the second board as a tuner. I used to have two listed. Both are present in Device Manager. How can I fix that? Robert Last edited by valnar; 01-25-2006 at 05:19 AM. |

Is the 2nd board not listed in SageTV at all? (I wasn't sure about that.) This should no longer be an issue for the most recent versions of SageTV, but check sage.properties for the mmc/ignore_encoders property. The other 250 might be listed there. If it is, remove that line while SageTV isn't running & restart.
