Walkthrough on moving SageTV to another Distro?
I've setup a Linux box which I'm using for routing and firewall, ftp and file serving. This is a dual processor box which should have the power to handle Sagetv as well. So, instead of setting up another computer just for Sagetv I'm looking at integrating the Sagetv Linux Iso into the existing distro.
Here's what I've got: HP Kayak Workstation Dual Pentium III 533's 256 megs Rdram Clark Connect 3.2 Home 2 x pvr-150 This would be serving 1 client. Does anyone have experience doing this or is there a walkthrough that would help me out? |

There are various posts from various people trying to using different distro's in this thread. Read them. It's a daunting task and not a lot of success from it. If you want the easiest way of running Sage on Linux I would recommend the distro that comes with it. You'll probably find some bugs with that too but that would hedging your bet for success. You're not going to find a walkthru for installing Sage on Clark Connect.
