I'm getting this frequently all of a sudden. It's done it 3 times today. Usually when I stop playback of live TV, but once it crashed when trying to delete a watched show.
It never did it until I was gone for 2.5 weeks and came back recently. The sage box was up the whole time. It did it right when I got home, i figured it was because it had been up so long. Now it's doing it frequently. Any ideas? Last edited by bitbyte; 07-09-2006 at 12:14 PM. |

Could this be another JRE problem? There was a thead talking about the problems people started experiencing when JRE update 6 came out. It looked like everyone rolled back to 1.4.2.11 or something like that. I just noticed that update 7 is out. Is is possible that your PC downloaded and installed the new JRE automatically and that this is why your experiencing problems? I really don't know, but I thought I'd throw it out there for discussion.

I was running 5.0.2 when i started getting this. Sunday I upgraded to 5.0.4.92 and the problem went away for a couple of days. Then since Monday I started having a problem with it serially changing channels on my Directv receiver. This morning it stopped changing channels altogether, so we restarted sage. The channel changing started working, but now we are back to the C++ error again. Last edited by bitbyte; 07-12-2006 at 09:38 AM. |

I initiated a formal service request yesterday. I've yet to hear anything, but I'll post the findings in this thread.
