Screen Saver Error Message
When SageTV is running and the SageTV screen saver activates, a gray box appears and "Could not create the Direct3D device" is written inside box. The gray box bounces around the screen like the normal SageTV screen saver logo does when it works but it's just the box and text, not the logo.
Any ideas? --------------------------- |...................................| <-- TV Screen |...................................| |...................................| |..._____........................| |..|TEXT|.......................| |..-------.......................| | _____________________|

Echwell, this has been such a long time ago I don't remember what fixed it but that doens't mean we can't troubleshoot it and fix it.
What version of Sage, any STV, OS, Java are you using? If I remember correctly I *think* this is a video card diver issue. Have you tried to reinstall the video card drivers? What DirectX (assuming you're using Windows) version do you have? AWS
