I spent some time on changing the menu themes to better match the look & feel of SageMC. If you are using the latest SageMC version (SageMC_169.xml), rename the import extension from .stv to .xml (otherwise the detailed setup won't see the file). The menus are transparent, if you rather prefer to have it non-transparent like the OSD options menu let me know ...

Thanks so much for adding optional command line execution support and for the global sleep timer function!

Is there any manual configuration necessary? I have imported .6 twice and it is not showing up in the menu anymore. No where to configure it except in the properties file but I think that's normal.

Let me first say that I love this plugin!
It would be really cool if it used the same code as is used when changing the start or stop time of a recording. Then you wouldn't need to configure various times in a file and could just use the left and right and rewind/fast forward to set the sleep timer. Or have both methods available on the same sleep menu. |

That would rock! I don't know how it works but my thought is that, in the Souce Setup you can add an extra command for your usbuirt, if the sleep timer could call that command and fire then we could just program it with the Power Off button of the TV. Again I have no clue what I'm saying, but its just a dream.
Thanks

Sorry for the wait but, yes, I do. I just went back to the default and then imported only sleep timer .6. No button is added to the menu for setting the sleep timer. I do not use SageMC but just the default with imports. Could that have anything to do with it since you added support for the SageMC interface?
I'll email my Sage3-1.xml tonight. Scott |

Scott,
What resolution do you run Sage at? I'm wondering because the sleep timer button for me is all the way at the bottom of the options dialog during playback below "Toggle Full Screen". Perhaps the command is out of view for you. EDIT: From reading more carefully. There is no way to configure the various default times without editing the properties file. The only way to add the menu item to the menus is to add it via Studio or Nielm's dynamic menus import. |

I just had a look at your STV. The timer had been successfully imported, but all the additional work (replacing themes, linking to the OSD menu) did not happen ... Since all of this is done by java code, I suspect that the error must be in this area. Did you unzip all files, including the JAR files ? Please check if df_sageutils.jar and df_sageplugins.jar are in your SageTV\SageTV\JARs directory. Also, did you restart SageTV/client after unzipping the files ? New JAR files are only read at startup. If the JAR files are indeed in place, then please set the following properties in Sage.properties: debug_logging=TRUE plugins/df/debug_level=1 import the STVi again, and send me your sagetv_0.txt (or sagetvclient_0.txt) I imported the timer into the STV you sent me, and it works fine here ... I set Sage back to the default STV, set the debug lines, and restarted Sage. Then imported the sleep time and it worked this time.
While looking at the sageclient.properties file I noticed some multiple entries for the sleep timer. Some were from a previous version that started with: sleeptimer/... and some began: plugins/df/sleeptimer/... In the latter section (plugins/df/...) there were conflicting double entries. I deleted all the sleeptimer/... entries and the doubles in the plugins/df/... section. All seems to be working now. |

good to hear it's working now for you. The old entries shouldn't have had any effect on the import itself. Anyway, doesn't matter now that it's working ... Dirk |
