Does this work with the new version of SageMC? After reading the 5 pages, it appears it will work with my MVPs... right?

Thanks!

Yes, I just checked, it works with 6.3.4 (and of course with MVPs). I repackaged it with JREKiwis lastest mod for the default STV, and included the latest df_sageutils.jar to ensure compatibility with SageMC (now requires Java 1.6).

Dirk,

A friendly reminder about updating the auto-sleep timer with additional listeners to reset the sleep clock. And I know that there are Default UI users that would really like to have it as well.

Hi Jack,

I'll look at this tomorrow. Regarding the default STV version, I'm afraid someone else would need to address that, I barely have enough time for all the SageMC related stuff.

Thought so. Just thought I'd mention it.

I'll have a look at the Default STV side when the version with the added listeners gets posted.

Thanks John, your help is always appreciated. But switching to Greg's import tools made it so easy that I was able to whip up a default STV version in no time. Version 1.1 with added listeners, configuration in the SageMC Extras options, and a default STV version is available here.

I've been having some problems with the auto-sleep timer not sleeping after 120 minutes. I will wake up in the morning and Sage is still doing LiveTV. Once, I did see the screensaver, but the audio was still going.

So, for testing, I set the timer to 5 minutes and it works correctly. SO, I started messing with the settings. If set arouund 90 minutes, it doesn't seem to work. And now, I notice that when it does go to sleep, it does so early. For instance, 10 minute timer sleeps in 8 minutes.

No obvious errors in the logs, but I can generate some data for you if need be.

I am missing a step here...

I imported this on my server, cold booted my mvp, and imported on the mvp, but nothing appears under Extras on the mvp. The server goes to sleep with the countdown, but that's pretty much the opposite of what I need. How do I access the timer settings on the mvp?

Friendly reminder...

Hi Dirk, I know you've been busy. I'm hoping you wouldnt mind updating this so it is fully compatible with SageMC again? Navigation doesnt work correctly anymore in this timer. Also, It's not possible anymore to link to it in Studio using the method you showed me a while back.

Any chance we can see this sometime soon?

Hi Dirk,

I'm seeing the same problems with version 1.3 as in version 1.2 (under SageMC 6.3.7).

1) Keyboard and remote control navigation: I used to be able to use the "down" key to go directly to the 15 minute incremental timers from the top row. For some reason, the only way I can get to those timers is by hitting the right button several times until I reach the "Set" button, then press the down button. This only started happening after SageMC version 6.3.7.

2) After selecting time I want for sageTV to sleep, the background is almost indistinguishable (see attached picture). It used to have an alphablended background that was very noticeable. This looked fine even in version 1.2. Something changed in version 1.3

3) A while back you were really nice to give me detailed instructions on how to hook this timer to Custom5 (which which i use on my remote control's sleep button). However, as you probably know, some fundamental things have changed in sageMC and the instructions no longer apply. I would be really grateful if you could help me with this. See the attached screenshots you had sent me a long time ago... which dont work anymore.

Thanks so much!
Michael

Try this in Studio: remove both "Refresh" widgets, and this problem should go away...

Yes, they should be removed -- you definitely don't want Refresh() calls in the BeforeMenuLoad & BeforeMenuUnload hooks for those animations.

Hi Dirk, thanks for much for looking into this. I am using the latest SageTV and SageMC.

However, my studio tree doesnt look like yours. "OSDOptionsTheme" doesnt have anything under it. Are the refresh widgets located somewhere else for me?

Press Ctrl-R (Set as primary reference) on the node...
