Moving objects leaving trails(after images)

It is kind of hard to explain but I am experencing (on my pvr500) what seem like image trails or after images. Lets say someone moves from one side of the screen to the other there is a trail of images(transparent) from the start to the finish. Not that I know but it seems like a bad acid trip or something. Anyone know what I am talking about or how to fix?
I will try to post a screen shot.

1 GIG ram
latest sage beta
latest pvr500 driver
ATI x1600pro
cat 6.2

yes, sound like temporal filter, or whatever it's called in the hauppauge tweak tool....the 1st thing I noticed was exactly as you describe when I first got my pvr150 card setup. I have temporal and spatial filters turned all the way down.
