Where Is Movie Progress Data Stored at?

What file(s) keeps the pointer for the progress show of a movie? In other words, when I watch a movie and say I stop 60% into the movie and come back later to watch it again, SageTV remembers where I left off and continues from that point on instead of from the start for example.

What file keeps that pointer info?

Don't know for sure but I would probably guess in the wiz.bin.

For recordings, it's stored in the wiz.bin. For imports, it's not saved.

I sure hope the "remembering where one left off" function for imports is on the "To Do" List. It seems like such a simple, yet useful thing to omit. Believe it or not, that function is one of the main reason I keep messing around with Media Portal.

If someone could ever marry Sage TV's PVR functionality with Media Portal's Media Center functionality...Well, I'd be really happy.

It could be hacked in with an import, but really should be done in the core IMO. If you want it, ask Sage for it directly (hopefully they'll put it in).

How can I tell if this file is corrupted or not? Or is there any program available to check the health of the binary file?

Reason I am asking is that my recordings are loosing their position when I fast forward and I suspect that this file may be damaged.

When I fast forward, the movie sometimes jumps to the start of the movie, or get's caught up in a loop.

I doubt that's a wiz.bin problem. What STV are you running? Any imports in it?

I have several: Dynamic menus, smooth ffw/rewird, multi stop. I removed SageTV software and removed the SageTV folder and reinstalled SageTV with no imports and it does the same thing. I need to test this again to make sure I clean out everything.
