Winlirc doesn't work with sageTV

Winlirc doesn't work with sageTV

Has any one got winlirc to work with sageTV 4 ?
I tried it and for some reason it (winlirc) will not respond when sage display tv or playing any mpeg based file.

(I tried it from the winlirc GUI as well, so it's not an exetunerplugin issue yet...)
