can you exclude words from the keyword search?

is it possible to exclude words from a search criteria?

for instance, i setup a favorite to search and record for "texas tech basketball" in the description. it still records teh few women's basketball games as well. i'd like to use a search string to exlude the word "women's" maybe using the like "texas tech basketball -women's".

also, is it possible to restrict keyword searches to groups. for instance "indianapolis colts" restricted to sports events?

If you are talking about keyword Favorites, then the details for the keywords can be found on p. 66 of the v4.1 manual. There are no options for 'except' & the keywords can be applied to all fields of the show's info or just the titles.

would it be possible for future sage builds to use the "-" symbol to exclude words from the search function? does anyone else think this may be useful?
