Feature Request: One way server visibility (for parental control)

I have run into a situation that I think many others have encountered. I need a way to segregate child friendly programming from everything else, and ensure that the extenders in the children's rooms only see the child friendly programs, but also have all the other locations include the child-safe programming along with the normal programs.

There has been some effort to deal with this using STV's, but nothing really satisfying or workable (in my opinion). It seems to me that it wouldn't require too big a leap to modify the multi-server configuration to do this.

If, in a multi-server setup, we could choose to specify whether or not one server's shows are visible to another server, then we could achieve this goal. The "kid" server would record and serve the children's shows, and would not display shows from the "adult" server. The clients in the kids' rooms would connect to this server for content. Ideally, this server's channel list would be pared down to just the child-appropriate channels.

Clients that attach to the "adult" server would have access to everything, including the shows on the "kid" server. To ensure that the kid's programs are recorded on the kid's server, the child-safe channels would be removed from this server's line-up.

It seems to me that the system is pretty close to being able to do this already - I could be wrong, but it seems like a relatively minimal effort would provide a pretty big payoff in terms of expandability/functionality.
