multiple source overlapping digital channels

This morning I upgraded my 2 digital cable boxes on the sage server to hd cable boxes. This was done to be able to record the local digital channels to get better pq over the analog feed. I also have a vbox 3560 ota tuner. When enabling the local fox station on the cable box channel 1090 it does not show in the guide unless I remove it as a channel from the vbox 3560 (channel 26 in this example). Since the cable box feed is svideo to pvr150 cards, I am looking for a way to differentiate the channels. Specifically for sports events I want to record the ota hd feed not the downsampled svideo feed. Is this doable?
