Getting a Sage Linux client to work??
Given all the threads asking about getting a Sage Linux client to work and my own failure (though I now know a lot more about Gentoo Linux and the Sage install scripts ) I was wondering who has.
Perhaps those like me who cant get it running can they say what their issue is. |

Thanks to your help, I can run the client but, like you, I can't connect to the server.
(No time yet to put the log... I'll to it when I have some time) Ferdinand

Still fighting the good fight, but I keep thinking about Mythtv as I go along. I've had Mythtv working fine for me, but the wife hated the interface. So I saw STV for Linux.
I'm starting to think that the linux version would be better as the server part of a client/server setup, with STV running on windows clients. Not really anything that I relish as an option. Running MCE on the Front End right now and I hate it, the current and upcoming DRM crap twists my nipples the wrong way.
