Check it out ...

So far, I like my Firefly a lot ... the mini looks like a cheaper alternative ...

Does the Mini work seamlessly with Sage?

I wonder what I would emulate to map it's funtions to Harmony 688 buttons.

I have the larger Firefly and have custom mapped all my buttons using Girder ... Works great ... even with macros for my custom dynamic menus.

My only complaint about the Firefly is signal ... If you are about 10-12 feet away, sometime the signal requires you point it in variuous directions. I had the same problem with my last ATI Remote Wonder so I can't say it's a Firefly issue alone ... SOme folks have busted open the receiver and solfered / wrapped some wire to the inside antenna and said it indcreased asignla strength multifold ... I haven't worked up the guts to open mine up ... I'd likely breaqk it and have no signal at all !!

It seems that the mini is infrared, rather than RF, so soldering an antenna won't help this one. I wonder how powerful the LED is?

Hmmm ... Excellent point ... You think I would have picked that up since I posted the link ...

I wish this was not a problem though ... it can be a pain ...
