MediaREADY 5000 reviewed in April 2006 Home Theater magazine
I subscribe to Home Theater magazine. It came in the mail today.
I looked for the review on the magazine website, but it doesn't look like they have it online.
It's a 3-page review. There are a few good pictures. There's a screenshot of the Sage interface. The review is pretty positive. They give it a score of 79 out of a 100. Their first complaint was about the noise. They also said that it was difficult to set it up with a home network compared to MCE. They like the MCE "icon-driven" method for setting things up better, instead of having to browse through directory names. The CD's they ripped came out corrupt. They didn't like the web browser because it was difficult to read web pages. Among the things they did like were the build quality and all the connectors.
