MVP Freezing..loading application

I just recently got a new MVP, as of friday. I have downloaded the new beta version of sagetv. When I turn the MVP on it finds my computer as a server and goes to loading application and then freezes. I have tried it with the Hauppauge software it works fine. I uninstalled the hauppauge software. i have let sagetv through my fire wall and even just flat out turned my firewall off. i have also done plenty of unplugging the mvp for 15 minutes to many hours. It always freezes in the same spot on the loading application. it is version 2.04 of the mvp.

Does anyone have any suggestions? i have a very well built fast computer with plenty of proccessor and ram, and sagetv works great on my computer, and yes i do have a media extender licensse.

Are you ever getting past the loading application screen? What does your debug log show at the time of MVP power up? Have you tried doing a network traffic capture during the time of the MVP boot up to see what communications is happening at the time the process breaks down?

what version of sage are you using? i think the latest mvp's are only supported by the latest beta(s). Hopefully someone else can confirm his.

If it is a new MVP (SPDIF black connector on the back) then it will only work with the most recent beta (4.1.11 i think).

Have you done this? Can you confirm what messages (if any) are being sent between the MVP and your server?

follow the instructions in this post:

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/show...4&postcount=45

this will at least show if your MVP and server are still communicating when it reaches this state or it will show what the MVP is sending out.

If you're having problems with your MVP loading and you're using 4.1.12, please submit a bug report.
