HD OTA and DirecTV SD on same tuner?
I'm brand new to the HD world, and planning a new SageTV setup (used Sage as a trial and really liked it, but never went forward until now). My goal is 3 DirecTV tuners (SD) and 1 OTA HD tuner. My client box already has DVI for the new Samsung 50" DLP TV. I have two PVR-150 cards for the server (P4 3.2GHz), so I need 1 more SD and 1 HD tuner. I'd love to just add one more card, especially since I only have a total of 3 PCI slots... Can any of the existing supported HD cards do both (HD OTA and SD via S-vid) in Sage? If not, what is the RECOMMENDED HD card (I did search...), and I'll just get a PVR-USB2 for the third SD tuner.
Thanks in advance! Last edited by bwillet; 04-05-2006 at 11:59 AM. |

FWIW, I have had very good results using two of these cards:
