Sage TV no longer recognizing source

I've had Sage v1.4.1 running for several weeks now with no problems. Today while watching tv, Sage suddenly went blank and is no longer recognizing my pvr250 as a source. I've tried removing Sage and reinstalling with no luck. Upon launching, it takes me to the setup wizard, but shows nothing as far as a source to setup.

The signal is getting to the capture card fine and I can watch tv through WinTV2000.

Any ideas?

I had this same exact thing happen. Look in the Sage.Properties file. There should be a line in there about IGNORE_SOURCE or something like that. It may have your soundcard listed on the line. Just remove that line and you should be fine.

The line Lauren is referring to is: mmc/ignore_encoders=

I've had the same thing before as well with listing the soundcard. Remove the soundcard reference from that line not the whole line itself and save the file.

You must do this while SageTV is not running!

Thanks Lauren and John. That fixed it. Any idea what would cause that to suddenly appear in Sage Properties file?
