Anyone using PowerDVD 5?

Sorry for the semi-offtopic post, but this seemed to me to be the largest concentration of ppl likely to be watching movies on their PC

I recently got an email from them offering to upgrade from the V4 that came with my DVD drive to V5. I know that initial releases tend to be buggy (present company excluded of course ) and was wondering if anyone else had taken the plunge and survived...

Thanks for any input ya got!

I downloaded the Trial last weekend, watched a divx encoded avi of a DVD and a straight DVD off it and both looked great. Set up a very basic girder file to control. Havent seen any bugs yet, in the process of adding a full command group to my Girder gml file that allready controls sage and winamp.
Havent done the research to find out exactly what the difference is between v4 and 5. I always had good results with vs 3 and 4.

P.S. The largest population watching movies on their PC is not here... rather it is http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/forum...?s=&forumid=26
