sage can't find exeTuner
currently installing sage 4.1.14
having problems getting my irBlaster to work again. when I add a new video source I don't see "exe tuner stub device" like I usually do. I unzipped the files and put them in both SageTV directories. I am using service mode and have it set up to interact with the desktop. i can't find the exeTuner when I go to import anything either.... any ideas? |

quick note, i should have changed the title to "I can't find exeTuner" because I'm sure it's something I'm doing wrong (not sage)

The EXETuner and/or EXEMultiTuner DLL files do not go into the SageTV directory... they go in the common directory (c:\Program Files\SageTV\common\ on a default install).
Stop SageTV (and the service), move the files, restart SageTV and (as long as you have configured and imported the required registry file) you should be good to go. Regards. |
