Placeshifter video breaks when screensaver kicks in

When my screen saver kicks in, it breaks video in placeshifter. I'm sure it's not just me. Should I report this as a bug? Or, is it obvious enough where the developers already know about this problem.

I suggest reporting anything you find that doesn't work as expected, just in case it hasn't already been reported. If video is playing, I would think it should prevent the screen saver from starting in the first place.

It does this to me as well. Placeshifter does not prevent the Windows screensaver from kicking in even if video is playing. As soon as the screensaver kicks in and I move the mouse or press a key to wake it back up, the video is black.

same here, I have to move the mouse to power up the screen. I have screensaver disabled so my laptop LCD just blanks out after 30 minutes. I dont think the placeshifter client blanks out when in fullscreen mode. It only does so in windows mode.

Another annoyance for windows mode is there's no "always on top" option.

I doubt we need to report this. It's a very obvious problem that anyone (including developers) would see sooner or later..

Has this been fixed yet

This is rather annoying, as my company uses a 5 minute screensaver. It is a PITA to have to restart placeshifter each time. If this is not fixed yet, any time frame for it to be fixed?

Thank you

This issue is fixed in V5.0.4 of the Placeshifter.
