Hauppauge PVR-150 Loud audio?
The audio level from my Hauppauge PVR-150 card is probably twice what it is from my VBOX DTA-150 ATSC card. I understand this is a well known problem with the Hauppauge cards and not really a problem with STV. I just wanted to know if anyone here has found a good fix for this problem? I have not seen one posted here from my search.

I downloaded the hauppage tweak tool from the web, googled for it.
My audio level was set to 4db, I changed that to 0db, which cut the volume in a little over half, and it now matches my Avermedia A180 card quite well. |

I found the volume issue to be dependent on decoder usage as well.

I used the Tweak tool from the web, and also the Cyberlink audio that came with my DVD software. For me it works the best, now my PVR-150 recordings from my DirecTV STB are close to the HDTV recordings from my Fusion Gold USB tuner.
