Weird Stuttering Issue
This issue has just started occurring and continues after a reformat and reinstall.
When I'm watching a recorded show, the video will appear to jump ahead about a second and will then freeze for a second while the audio catches up. I've also noticed that I will (rarely) see the large blocky video artifacts that look like my satellite connection is flaky and audio glitches (about twice an hour) that sound like loud screeches for about half of a second. BUT... I don't notice this when I watch live TV. It only appears to happen on recorded shows. If I look at the recorded show in any other application, it does the same thing, so I know it's in the file itself. It *might* only be happening on one of my drives, but I haven't tested enough to be certain. My drive is formatted with 64K clusters. I have also excluded it from any virus scanning, etc. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks. Jim Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 with newest drivers on WinXP Sage 5.02 |

Hi Jim,
I had a somewhat similar problem with the latest drivers on the pvr-150. My system was studdering whenever a new show would start to record, both playing back in Sage and Media Player. I downgraded my pvr-150 drivers to 23053 and the studder went away. Hope that helps. -Tim |

Great, Tim. I'll give that a shot.
