KNC ONE detected but not working

so I was looking on a way to add the tuner manually in sage.properties
and the file contains:

Quote:
mmc/encoders/-604681492/video_capture_device_name=KNC ONE TV Station DVB-S (SU1200_K)
mmc/encoders/-604681492/video_capture_device_num=0
mmc/encoders/-604681492/video_encoding_params=Best
mmc/encoders/-604681492/video_processor=
I think that video_capture_device_num is not correct.
I wonder why sage did not use the normal approach an follow the TV card properties info.

So how to add a card?

You need to add a supported card.

Rather not cause the KNC ONE is one of the best DVB cards.
Or is SageTV not compatible with DVB?

There was DVB-T support in one of the betas. But I think they're still working on it so it's not available in the current release.

Well if DVB-T is running file then both DVB-C as S would be not a problem.
European satellites use another frequency but that should be no problem either.

I saw no Common interface mentioned, perhaps is SageTV not what I ....and many others are looking for.
edit: btw: things like hauppauge pvr have no future here.
All analaog TV transmissions stop between 2010-2012 but the trend is going faster, so in our country expected
between 2008-2010. Ok, that's still a few years to go but......
