Feature Request: remote control for placeshifter

not sure if this is the right place to do this or not, but i was wondering why they never added remote control functionality to sagetv placeshifter? seems a bit silly that such basic core functionality of sage would not be provided in placeshifter. guess i'm going to have to keep reading the fine print (and whats not explicitely stated in features) before i make any more sage purchases.

any idea on when or if this will be added?

thanks,

Depending on what type of remote you have, you can just add your own support by mapping the buttons on the remote to the SageTV keys. If you have an MCE remote, google for 'HIP MCE remote', and if you have a hauppauge remote check opus's signiture.

Even if you have a different remote, the software that came with it should provide you with the ability to set it up to work with a new program, such as SageTVPlaceshifter
